Mega Millions® Multi-Draws Reduced for Upcoming Game Changes
To prepare for the upcoming changes to the Mega Millions game in October, the Nebraska Lottery is temporarily reducing the amount of drawings that can be purchased on a ticket.
With the upcoming changes to the Mega Millions game, the maximum number of Mega Millions multi-draws that can be purchased on a ticket will be reduced with each successive drawing starting on August 8, 2017. Once the final drawing (October 27, 2017) under the game's current matrix has taken place, it will again be possible to purchase multi-draw tickets for up to 24 consecutive drawings.

The changes to Mega Millions take effect in October 2017 according to plans set by the Mega Millions Consortium, a group comprised of the original Mega Millions lotteries that sets the rules of the game. These changes will result in larger starting and faster-growing jackpots; better odds of winning the $1 million Match 5 prize; and a new Just the Jackpot wager. The ticket price will increase to $2 per play. Click here for more information.
