Bellevue Woman Wins $5,000 Playing MyDaY

There were more than 12,500 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Wednesday, July 30 drawings. Among these winners was Burgess, who purchased her winning MyDaY ticket at Kwik Shop, 2103 Capehart Road in Bellevue. The ticket contained the winning Month (10), Day (14) and Year (00) from the July 30 drawing for the $5,000 top prize.

Three hundred and forty-seven Nebraska Lottery player have won the MyDaY top prize to date.

Burgess wasted no time claiming her prize, arriving at Nebraska Lottery headquarters the day after the drawing.  She learned she had won after checking the winning numbers with the Nebraska Lottery mobile app. “I was so excited I started running down the hallway,” said Burgess. “I couldn’t believe I’d won.” She plans to pay bills using her winnings.

MyDaY is a Nebraska Lottery Lotto game with a calendar theme. Players can win up to $5,000 by choosing a six-digit date for each $1 MyDaY play. The odds of winning the $5,000 top prize in MyDaY are 1 in 36,525, and the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 8.17.
