First Time Win for Nebraska Pick 3 Player

November 8, 2006 – There’s a first time for everything, as Patricia Krause of Lincoln discovered when she recently won the $600 top prize in Nebraska Pick 3.

Krause bought her ticket at the Kabredlos near 70th and Havelock Street in Lincoln. When claiming her prize, Krause told Nebraska Lottery officials that she was very excited and that it was her first time she has won a prize from the Nebraska Lottery. She stated that her $600 prize will be used for paying bills. Nine hundred and thirty players have won the $600 top prize in Nebraska Pick 3 to date.

Nebraska Pick 3 was introduced in May of 2005. Nebraska Pick 3 sales have exceeded $3 million and provided more than $780,000 for Nebraska Lottery beneficiary funds. The odds of winning the Nebraska Pick 3 $600 jackpot are 1 in 1,000 and the odds of winning any prize vary with the bet type selected.
