Fairbury Woman Wins $7,000 Playing Quick 7s

Catie Vculek of Fairbury won $7,000 playing Quick 7s, the $1 Nebraska Lottery Scratch game.

Vculek purchased her winning ticket at Casey’s #1193 at 622 E St. in Fairbury.

She said she doesn’t play very often but something was telling her to get a ticket that day. She did and it turned out to be a good plan.

“I still can’t believe it,” Vculek said.

A $1 Scratch game, Quick 7s offers players a chance to win prizes from a free $1 ticket to $7,000. The chances of winning $7,000 are one in 375,000, while the odds of winning any prize were one in 3.58.
