Mark Behne of Lincoln won $35,000 playing Bonus Crossword, the $3 Nebraska Lottery Scratch game.
Behne purchased his winning ticket at Cornhusker Bottle Shop at 2310 N 1st St. in Lincoln.
Bonus Crossword is Behne’s go-to ticket for taking a break. This time he bought a stack of five tickets and played them over several days.
“It was the very last one I scratched,” Behne said. “It was just sitting right there.”
