Elkhorn Couple Wins $22,000 Playing 2by2
Jacqualine and Dan Twohig of Elkhorn won $22,000 playing 2by2 from the Nebraska Lottery.
The winning ticket was purchased at Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh #10 at 3404 N 156th St. in Omaha. The ticket contained one play for 14 draws between June 19 and July 2. They didn’t have to wait very long for a win because their ticket for the June 20 drawing matched the two winning Red numbers (09, 12) and the two winning White balls (09, 13).
The Twohigs have been playing 2by2 for years. Every day and always the same numbers.
“It’s our birthdays,” Jacqualine said. “I knew they’d hit eventually.”
A $1 Lotto game, 2by2 offers players a chance to win prizes from a free $1 quick pick ticket to the $22,000 jackpot. The chances of winning $22,000 are one in 105,625, while the odds of winning any prize were one in 3.59.
