Kimball Man Wins $20,000 Playing Mega Millions

Calab Keller of Kimball won $20,000 playing Mega Millions from the Nebraska Lottery.

Keller purchased his ticket at Kwik Stop #14 at 230 S Chestnut St. in Kimball. The ticket contained one play for the May 29 drawing, which matched four of the five winning numbers (19, 24, 47, 59, 65) and the Mega Ball (07).

Keller buys a ticket for just about every drawing, but this is the most he’s ever won.

“The wins are getting bigger,” he said.

Mega Millions is a multi-state jackpot game currently offered by 45 state lotteries, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands. The odds of winning $20,000 playing Mega Millions are 1 in 893,761 while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 24.
