Humboldt Man Wins $7,500 Playing Millionaire for Life
Ted Harshbarger of Humboldt won $7,500 playing Millionaire for Life, the Nebraska Lottery $5 Lotto game.
Harshbarger purchased his winning ticket at Shell Speedee Mart at 802 J St. in Auburn. His ticket contained four of five winning numbers from the May 13 drawing for a $7,500 win.
The win came from a ticket purchased with Nebraska Lottery’s most recent tear pad coupon, offering players one quick pick Millionaire for Life ticket at $7 for two draws.
Harshbarger said he’s going to use his winnings to pay off his car.
“It feels very good,” he said.
A $5 Lotto game, Millionaire for Life offers players a daily chance to win prizes from $8 to the grand prize of $1 million a year for life. The chances of winning $7,500 are one in 866,455 while the odds of winning any prize are one in 8.41. The odds of winning the top prize are one in 22,910,580.
