Ross purchased his winning ticket at Pump & Pantry #41 at 1212 E 56th St. in Kearney.
Ross said he’s planning on using the money for a trip he and his wife are taking to Pennsylvania to visit family and said the money will go to their travel fund.
A $5 Scratch game, $50,000 Crossword connect offered players a chance to win prizes from a free $5 ticket to $50,000. The chances of winning $50,000 are one in 216,000, while the odds of winning any prize were one in 3.29.
