Mega Millions Free Ticket Promotion

The Nebraska Lottery wants to give players a chance to try Mega Millions for free when the enhanced game launches on April 5, 2025.

Between March 29 and April 4, Mega Millions players will randomly be awarded a free $5 Mega Millions quick pick coupon that can be redeemed at any Nebraska Lottery retailer April 5 – 18, 2025. The lottery terminal will sound and a trailer coupon will print following the purchased ticket each time the free coupon is awarded.

The total cost, or amount of plays of the Mega Millions purchase, does not determine when coupons are awarded — this is based solely on the number of Mega Millions transactions across Nebraska. The promotion will end at 9:00 p.m. (C.T.), April 4, 2025.
