David City Woman Wins $200,000 Playing Crossword Mania
Sara Middleton of David City won $200,000 playing Crossword Mania, the $20 Scratch ticket from the Nebraska Lottery.
Middleton purchased her ticket at Casey’s #2881 at 2903 23rd St. in Columbus. The ticket matched 12 words in the playfield to win the $200,000 prize.
“I was stunned,” she said. “I still can’t believe it.”
A $20 Scratch game, Crossword Mania offers players a chance to win prizes from $20 to $200,000. The chances of winning $200,000 were one in 75,000, while the odds of winning any prize were one in 3.
