Springfield Man Wins $200,000 Playing Titanium 20s

Michael Henrichs of Springfield won $200,000 playing Titanium 20s, the Nebraska Lottery $20 Scratch game.

Henrichs purchased his winning ticket at B&D Pit Stop at 14111Platteview Rd. in Springfield.

It was a total fluke that he grabbed the winning ticket, Henrichs said. He noticed another player buying tickets and thought he’d take a chance as well.

“At first I thought I’d won $20, but I kept scratching,” he said. “Then maybe a $200 win. Then I saw the comma.”

Henrichs’ win came right at a confluence of two big life events. The day he won was 30 years to the day since he bought his house and just one day off from his birthday.

“This is a very welcome birthday present,” he said.

Henrichs said he’s planning to use his winnings to make some home improvements and do some traveling.

A $20 Scratch game, Titanium 20s offers players a chance to win prizes from a free $20 ticket to $200,000. The chances of winning $200,000 were one in 140,000, while the odds of winning any prize were one in 3.
