Gering Woman Wins $110,000 Playing Nebraska Pick 5
Michelle Rowlee of Gering won $110,000 playing Nebraska Pick from the Nebraska Lottery.
Rowlee purchased her tickets at Main St. Market at 401 S Beltline Hwy. in Scottsbluff. The ticket contained one play for the May 29 drawing which matched that night’s winning numbers 01, 02, 25, 28 and 28.
Rowlee bought a quick pick ticket a few years ago, decided she liked them and they’ve been her numbers ever since.
“I know those numbers very well,” she said. “When I heard them, I knew they were mine, I just had a hard time convincing myself it was real.”
Nebraska Pick 5 is Nebraska’s unique Lottery game: all the proceeds from Nebraska Pick 5 stay in Nebraska, and all the winning tickets are sold in Nebraska at Nebraska Lottery Lotto game retailers. The odds of winning the Nebraska Pick 5 jackpot, which starts at $50,000 and grows by $10,000 each drawing that is not won, are 1 in 658,008 while the overall odds of winning a prize in the game, which has drawings seven nights a week, are 1 in 9.2.
