Nebraska City Woman Wins $17,777 Playing Pink Diamond 7s
Kim Reese of Nebraska City won $17,777 playing the Pink Diamond 7s Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery.
Reese purchased her winning ticket at Casey’s #2735 at 946 11th St. in Syracuse.
While she’s not much of a Scratch player herself, Reese said she’d bought some tickets for a friend who gave her back a free-ticket winner and told her to get herself something. Not sure of what she wanted, she pointed at a ticket on the board at random and headed off.
Turns out that gift of a free ticket was a big winner.
Reese said she’s planning on using some of her winnings to take a road trip to Kansas City to watch the Royals play.
“That’s the first thing on my bucket list,” she said.
A $2 Scratch game, Pink Diamond 7s offered players a chance to win prizes from a free $2 ticket up to $17,777. The chances of winning $17,777 were one in 168,000, while the odds of winning any prize were one in 4.09.
