Powerball 30th Anniversary Celebration

Powerball, America’s Game, is celebrating 30 years of making millionaires!

Powerball started April 19, 1992, with a starting jackpot of $2 million. On July 21, 1994, Powerball became the first Lotto game offered by the new Nebraska Lottery. It continues to be Nebraska’s favorite Lotto game.

To commemorate the Powerball 30th Anniversary, the Nebraska Lottery is offering two special player promotions.

Powerball 30th Anniversary Social Media Giveaway (April 14 – 19)

You could win 50 Powerball Power Play coupons and a Lottery Swag Bag in the Powerball 30th Anniversary Social Media Giveaway. Visit the Nebraska Lottery Facebook Page (facebook.com/nebraskalottery) April 14 - 19 to enter and win. There will be five winners.

Powerball 30th Anniversary Ticket Promotion (April 18 – 20)

Between April 18 and April 20, free Powerball Power Play tickets will randomly print with Powerball purchases. So buy a Powerball ticket at your favorite Nebraska Lottery retailer and you might win a free Powerball Power Play ticket.
