Fort Calhoun Man Wins $200,000 Playing $200,000 Cash Crossword
Brent Cudmore of Fort Calhoun won $200,000 playing the $200,000 Cash Crossword Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery.
Cudmore purchased his winning ticket at Calhoun Oil Co. at 113 South 14th Street in Fort Calhoun.
After buying his winning ticket, Cudmore went out to his vehicle in the parking lot to scratch it off. At first he wasn’t sure he was reading it right, he said.
“I went back into the station,” he said. “I told them, maybe you should check this.”
Cudmore said he’s planning on using some of his winnings to pay some bills.
