2018 Annual Report Available

By November 1 of each year, the Nebraska Lottery is required by law to deliver its written annual report to the Governor and the Legislature. The report is a public record.

The 2018 Annual Report and Resource Guide (for the fiscal year that began on July 1, 2017, and ended on June 30, 2018) contains a number of notable highlights.

Operations

Registrations for the MVP Club at nelottery.com reached a new record due to two popular promotions. Updates to Check-A-Ticket machines at Nebraska Lottery retailers enabled them to show prize amounts for scanned tickets.

Product Developments

The Power Play $10K Pay Day promotion drove sales of Powerball and increased registrations for the MVP Club. The new Lucky for Life Lotto game exceeded initial sales expectations. New Scratch games reinforced existing partnerships and offered players unique prizes.

Strong Sales

Sales of all Nebraska Lottery games (Scratch and Lotto) for the fiscal year totaled $183.4 million.

Beneficiary Fund Contributions

Total contributions to Nebraska Lottery beneficiary funds passed $693.9 million with the June quarterly transfer. During the fiscal year, Nebraska Lottery beneficiary funds received a total of $45.3 million.
