Weston Man Wins $1,000 Playing Lucky Numbers Super Ticket

Arthur Burge of Weston won $1,000 playing the Lucky Numbers Super Ticket from the Nebraska Lottery.  

Burge purchased the winning ticket from BP Gas at 2345 County Road K in Weston.

When he claimed his prize, Burge told lottery officials that he planned to use the money to cover the cost of butchering the deer he bagged for himself this season. He also plans to give the clerk who sold him the ticket some of the winnings.

As a $10 game, the Lucky Numbers Super Ticket offers players the chance to win prizes from $10 to $100,000. The chances of winning $1,000 are 1 in 40,200, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.59.
