Lincoln Man Wins $20,000 Playing Winter Takes It All

Ronald Pleasant of Lincoln won $20,000 playing Winter Takes It All from the Nebraska Lottery.

Pleasant purchased his winning ticket from Hy-Vee at 6001 Village Drive in Lincoln.

When Pleasant claimed his prize, he told lottery officials that he had purchased the ticket the previous night and was shocked when he found out he had won. “I screamed and everybody in the front of the store looked,” he said.

Pleasant plans to use the money to help his father with medical expenses.

As a $10 game, Winter Takes It All offers players the chance to win prizes from $10 to $20,000. The chances of winning $20,000 are 1 in 60,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.18.
