Winners Drawn in 2017 Pick 5 Bowl Bonanza Promotion
In a drawing on September 27, 2017, seven winners were selected in the Pick 5 Bowl Bonanza Promotion.
Between September 5 and September 26, Nebraska Lottery players entered a total of 433,899 voucher numbers online at nelottery.com. One drawing was held on September 26 to select the following winners:
- Amy Kersten of Gretna – Bowl Trip Experience includes a bowl trip for two (2) for the 2017 University of Nebraska football bowl game including airfare to the game site, two (2) night hotel stay, tickets to the game, and $1,000 cash;*
- Mark McGinty of South Sioux City – Weekend Experience includes two (2) suite tickets to the Nebraska vs. Purdue volleyball game on Friday, November 3, 2017, two (2) suite tickets with exclusive access to the Nebraska vs. Northwestern football game on Saturday, November 4, 2017, a Coach Riley autographed football, a two (2) night hotel stay, and $1,000 cash; and
- Laura Kobza of Bellwood; Jose Buitron of Dakota; Whitney Backstrom of Wausa; Denise Valentine of Kearney; and Jack Koehne of Lincoln – Two (2) single game tickets for the Nebraska vs. Ohio State football game on Saturday, October 14, 2017, and $250 in cash.
* If the University of Nebraska fails to accept a bowl invitation for the 2017 season, the winner of the Bowl Trip Experience is entitled to the $1,000 cash prize only. Airfare, game tickets, or hotel stay will not be included if Nebraska does not accept an invitation to a bowl game.
Winners were contacted by a Nebraska Lottery representative following the drawing and will be announced after their entry vouchers are received for verification. The winning voucher numbers will not be posted.
