Nebraska City Man Wins $50,000 Playing $50,000 Jackpot

Billy Scoles of Nebraska City won $50,000 playing $50,000 Jackpot from the Nebraska Lottery.

Scoles purchased his winning ticket from Speedee Mart at 1108 Central Avenue in Nebraska City.

Scoles is the owner of a home that was built in the 1860s and says that he will invest a lot of his winnings into home maintenance. “Old houses like that need a lot of love,” he said.

As a $5 game, $50,000 Jackpot offers players the chance to win prizes from $5 to $50,000. The chances of winning $50,000 are 1 in 225,000, while the chances of winning any prize are 1 in 3.61.
