Two Trucks Added to Nebraska Lottery Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch Game

Due to high interest in the $2 Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game, the Nebraska Lottery announced today that two additional Ford F-150 trucks will be available to win in the game.

When Truck$ & Buck$ launched in January, the game offered five Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 SuperCrew Flex Fuel truck prizes – two more than the 2016 version of the game. Sales of the 2017 edition of Truck$ & Buck$ have exceeded expectations, so the Lottery has decided to extend the print run for the game and offer two additional truck prizes. Players also have the chance to win two more $1,000 gift cards for ethanol-enriched fuel and over $660,000 in additional cash prizes.

“Truck$ & Buck$ is our longest-running Scratch game. We’ve had a version of Truck$ & Buck$ on sale every year since 1996,” said Brian Rockey, Nebraska Lottery Director. “It’s great to see so much excitement for the expanded game this year, and we’re very pleased to offer players two more chances to win a new truck.”

To date, three Ford F-150 trucks have been won in this year’s Truck$ & Buck$ game. Helen Murray of Oakland won the first truck on January 26; Rick Torres of Eagle won the second truck on February 17; and Iris Buchta of Fremont won the third truck on March 24.

Even after adding two additional trucks to the game, the odds of winning the truck prize will stay at 1 in 300,000. The truck prize is valued at $53,500, which includes $1,289 for costs associated with ownership and state and federal withholding paid by the Nebraska Lottery of $2,675 and $13,375, respectively. The overall odds of winning any prize in Truck$ & Buck$ are 1 in 3.14.

Truck$ & Buck$ tickets can be purchased at Lottery retailers across Nebraska. Visit nelottery.com or download the official Nebraska Lottery mobile app to find a retailer near you.
