Omaha Woman Wins $50,000 Playing Powerball®
Lisa Prime of Omaha won $50,000 Playing Powerball®.
Prime purchased her winning ticket at Hy-Vee Drug Store, 8404 North 30th Street in Omaha. The ticket contained four out of the five winning white ball numbers (8, 10, 26, 27, 33) and the Powerball® number (22) from the December 3 drawing for $50,000.
While claiming her prize, Prime told Lottery officials that she has been playing the same numbers for six years. “The numbers came from a very special time in my life,” she said. “These numbers, I’m going to keep playing.”
The odds of winning $50,000 playing Powerball are 1 in 11,688,053, and the odds of winning $7 are 1 in 578. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 24.9.
