Daily Drawings for In-State Games Coming Nov. 6

Beginning November 6, 2016, the Nebraska Lottery’s in-state Lotto games (Nebraska Pick 5, Nebraska Pick 3, and MyDaY) will have drawings Monday through Sunday, seven days a week. Currently only 2by2 has a Sunday drawing.

There will be no price, matrix, or prize payout modifications, but offering seven day draws requires some changes that players should be aware of:

Drawings

The first daily drawings for Nebraska Pick 5, Nebraska Pick 3, and MyDaY will be held on Sunday, November 6. Tickets for this first drawing can be purchased the morning of November 6.

Play Slips

New play slips for Nebraska Pick 5, Nebraska Pick 3, and MyDaY will be available at Nebraska Lottery retailers starting on November 6.  Older play slips for these games will not work after the changes have been implemented and should be discarded.

Multi-Draws

To prepare for the change to seven day draws, on August 15 the Lottery began temporarily reducing the amount of drawings that can be purchased for Nebraska Pick 5, Nebraska Pick 3, and MyDaY. The maximum number of drawings that can be purchased on a multi-draw ticket decreases by one after each successive drawing. Beginning Sunday, November 6, players will again be able to purchase tickets for up to 12 weeks of drawings (or 84 draws).

The following table shows the maximum number of drawings that can be purchased during the final weeks of the multi-draw phaseout. You can view the complete phaseout table here in PDF format.
