Omaha Man Claims Third Truck$ & Buck$ Truck

DSC_0005 Gerald Wurgler of Omaha is the third winner of a 2016 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 SuperCrew Flex Fuel truck in the 21st edition of the Nebraska Lottery’s $2 Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game.

Wurgler recently purchased his winning Truck$ & Buck$ ticket at Baker’s #302, 12025 West Center Road in Omaha. Scratching the ticket, he revealed three “Key” symbols in Game 2 for the corresponding truck prize.

Wurgler was presented with his new truck at an event in Omaha on April 25. Wurgler told Nebraska Lottery officials that he learned he had won after returning to Baker’s to check his ticket. “I went in and said, ‘Please tell me this is what I think it is,’” said Wrugler. “Never in a million years did I think I was going to win the truck. It was crazy.”

The odds of winning the top prize in Truck$ & Buck$ were 1 in 300,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize were 1 in 3.14.

The 21st edition of the Nebraska Lottery’s popular Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game featured the 2016 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 SuperCrew Flex Fuel truck as its top prize. Players had the opportunity to win one of three Ford F-150 trucks as well as $991,950 in cash and Ethanol-enriched fuel prizes. The truck prize was valued at $52,250 which included $1,504 for costs associated with ownership and state and federal withholding paid by the Nebraska Lottery of $2,662.50 and $13,312.50, respectively.
