Benedict Man Wins $100,000 Playing $2,000,000 Cash Explosion
Sanford Ratzlaff of Benedict won $100,000 playing the $10 Scratch game $2,000,000 Cash Explosion from the Nebraska Lottery.
Ratzlaff purchased his winning Cash Explosion ticket at Casey’s General Store, 117 Main Street in Stromsburg. Scratching the ticket, he revealed matching numbers with a corresponding prize of $100,000.
There are three $100,000 top prizes available in $2,000,000 Cash Explosion. Ratzlaff is the second person to claim a top prize to date.
While claiming his prize on April 14, Ratzlaff told Nebraska Lottery officials that he was “surprised” to win the top prize. “I almost didn’t buy the ticket,” he said. Ratzlaff had no specific plans for his prize.
