Omaha Man Wins $58,000 Playing Nebraska Pick 5
Robert Stark of Omaha won $58,000 playing Nebraska Pick 5 from the Nebraska Lottery.
Stark purchased his winning Nebraska Pick 5 ticket at Fareway, 3070 North 90th Street in Omaha. The five-play quick pick ticket contained one play with all five winning numbers (2, 20, 27, 32, 35) from the March 1 drawing for the $58,000 jackpot.
Three hundred and thirty Nebraska Lottery players have won the Nebraska Pick 5 jackpot to date.
Stark wasted no time claiming his prize, arriving at Nebraska Lottery headquarters the day after the drawing. He told Lottery officials that he learned he had won the jackpot after checking the ticket at another retailer. “The clerk said I had to go to Lincoln to cash it,” said Stark. “I was shocked.” He plans to play bills using his winnings.
