Columbus Woman wins $200,000 playing 20X
Tricia Korgel of Columbus won $200,000 playing the 20X Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery.
Korgel purchased her winning ticket at Fast Mart, 3222 23rd Street in Columbus. Scratching the ticket, she revealed matching numbers for the top prize.
While claiming her prize on February 12, Korgel told Nebraska Lottery officials that it was “unbelievable” to win the $200,000 prize. As far as plans for her winnings, she told Nebraska Lottery officials that she plans to buy a hot tub then save the rest of the prize money for the future.
There were three $200,000 top prizes available in 20X. Korgel was the third person to claim a top prize to date.
20X was a $20 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offered players the chance to win over $10 million in cash prizes from $20 to $200,000. The odds of winning the top prize in 20X were 1 in 240,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize were 1 in 2.44.
