Lincoln Man Wins $50,000 Playing Powerball

Michael Wright of Lincoln recently won $50,000 playing Powerball from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 15,500 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Saturday, November 14 drawings. Among these winners was Wright, who purchased his winning ticket at Shoemaker’s Truck Station, 151 Southwest 48^th Street in Lincoln. The two-play quick pick ticket contained one play with four of the five winning white ball numbers (14, 22, 37, 45, 66) and the Powerball number (5) for $50,000.

Three Nebraska Lottery players have won the $50,000 Powerball prize to date. The odds of winning $50,000 playing Powerball are 1 in 913,129, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 24.9.
