2014 Annual Report Available

By November 1 of each year, the Nebraska Lottery is required by law to deliver its written annual report to the Governor and the Legislature. The report is a public record.

The 2014 Annual Report and Resource Guide (for the fiscal year that began on July 1, 2013, and ended on June 30, 2014) contains a number of notable highlights.

Product Developments

During the fiscal year, the Nebraska Lottery launched a new branding campaign featuring iconic alien characters to promote its in-state Nebraska Pick 5 Lotto game. The multi-state Powerball Pro Football Hall of Fame Tailgate Party promotion generated new MVP Club members at nelottery.com. A new holiday Scratch game, Naughty or Nice, debuted with a new play style and offered Scratch players the chance to sample the Nebraska Pick 5 Lotto game. And David and Erica Harrig of Gretna became Nebraska's newest Powerball jackpot winners when they claimed a $61.45 million jackpot in December 2013.

Strong Sales

Sales of all Nebraska Lottery games (Scratch and Lotto) for the fiscal year totaled $157.9 million.

Beneficiary Fund Contributions

Total contributions to Nebraska Lottery beneficiary funds passed $527 million with the June quarterly transfer. During the fiscal year, Nebraska Lottery beneficiary funds received a total of $38 million.
