Nebraska City Man Wins $50,000 Playing Gold Rush

September 26, 2013 – Sean Santana of Nebraska City won $50,000 playing the $5 Scratch game Gold Rush from the Nebraska Lottery.

Mesa purchased his winning Gold Rush ticket at Quik Pik, 401 South 11^th Street in Nebraska City. Scratching the ticket, he revealed one card that beat the DEALER’S CARD for a corresponding prize of $50,000.

There are three $50,000 prizes available in Gold Rush. Santana is the second person to claim a top prize to date. He plans to buy a boat using his winnings.
