$22,000 2by2 Prize for Lincoln Woman

Rita Hautzenroder August 20, 2013 – Rita Hautzenroder of Lincoln recently won $22,000 playing 2by2 from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 14,500 Nebraska Lottery winners in the July 20 drawings. Among these winners was Hautzenroder, who purchased a 2by2 ticket at Super C, 3202 South 10th Street in Lincoln. The ticket was good for seven draws and contained one play with the winning red ball numbers (7, 14) and winning white ball numbers (5, 7) from the July 20 drawing for a corresponding prize of $22,000.

Three hundred and three Nebraska Lottery players have won the 2by2 top prize to date.

While claiming her prize on July 23, Hautzenroder told Nebraska Lottery officials that she didn’t realize she had won the top prize at first. “I called the hotline, checked the website, and read the numbers in the newspaper, and I thought, ‘All of these can’t be wrong,’” said Hautzenroder. She plans to pay bills using her winnings.

2by2 is run by the Multi-State Lottery Association and was introduced in June 2002. Players in Kansas, Nebraska and North Dakota have the opportunity to win up to $22,000 Monday through Sunday by playing 2by2. The odds of winning the $22,000 2by2 top prize are 1 in 105,625. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.59.
