Norfolk Woman Wins $4,000 Playing Lucky Pair
January 26, 2012– Carmelita Martinez of Norfolk won $4,000 playing the $1 Scratch game Lucky Pair from the Nebraska Lottery.
Martinez purchased her winning Lucky Pair ticket at Casey’s General Store, 1001 Veterans Avenue in Stanton. Scratching the ticket, she revealed two pair in each of the four hands on the ticket, doubling the four $500 prizes for a total of $4,000.
There are three $4,000 top prizes available in Lucky Pair. Martinez is the first person to claim a top prize to date.
Lucky Pair is a $1 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $433,900 in cash prizes from $1 to $4,000. The odds of winning the $4,000 top prize in Lucky Pair are 1 in 360,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.75.
