$10,000 Mega Millions Prize for Lexington Woman

January 18, 2011 – Alicia Estrada of Lexington recently won $10,000 playing Mega Millions from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 10,000 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Tuesday, December 28, drawings. Among these winners was Estrada, who purchased her winning Mega Millions ticket at Pump & Pantry, 210 East 6th Street in Lexington. The five-play quick pick ticket contained one play with four of the five winning white ball numbers (6, 18, 36, 40, 49) and the Mega Ball number (7) from the December 28 draw for $10,000.

Sixteen Nebraska Lottery players have won the $10,000 Mega Millions prize since the Nebraska Lottery began offering the game on March 20, 2010.

Mega Millions is a multi-state jackpot game currently offered by 42 lotteries across the United States. The odds of winning $10,000 playing Mega Millions are 1 in 689,065, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 40.
