North Platte Man Wins $5,011 Playing MyDaY

December 8, 2010 – Kent Priest of North Platte recently won a total of $5,011 playing MyDaY from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 10,000 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Tuesday, November 23, drawings. Among these winners was Priest, who purchased his winning MyDaY ticket at Time Saver, 3220 South Jeffers Street in North Platte. The ticket was good for multiple draws and contained one play with the winning Month (8), winning Day (17), and winning Year (87) from the November 23 drawing for the $5,000 top prize.

Because Priest purchased a multi-draw ticket for six drawings, his ticket also matched the winning Year from the November 22 drawing for $7, and the winning Day from the November 24 drawing for $4, making his total win $5,011.

One hundred and fifty-nine Nebraska Lottery players have won the MyDaY top prize to date.

MyDaY is a Nebraska Lottery Lotto game with a calendar theme. Players can win up to $5,000 by choosing a six-digit date for each $1 MyDaY play. The odds of winning the $5,000 top prize in MyDaY are 1 in 36,525, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 8.17.
