Lincoln Man Wins $10,000 Playing Mega Millions

September 21, 2010 – Marshall Krcmarik of Lincoln recently won $10,000 playing Mega Millions from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 8,000 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Friday, September 10 drawings. Among these winners was Krcmarik, who purchased his winning Mega Millions ticket at Gas & Plus, 1301 South Street in Lincoln. The quick pick ticket contained four of the five winning white ball numbers (11, 12, 17, 21, 23) and the Mega Ball number (20) from the September 10 draw for $10,000.

Krcmarik is the seventh person to claim a $10,000 Mega Millions prize since the Nebraska Lottery began offering the game on March 20, 2010.

Mega Millions is a multi-state jackpot game currently offered by 42 lotteries across the United States. The odds of winning $10,000 playing Mega Millions are 1 in 689,065, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 40.
