Omaha Man Wins $10,007 Powerball Prize
June 23, 2010 – Brian Kile of Omaha recently won a total of $10,007 playing Powerball from the Nebraska Lottery.
There were more than 21,000 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Wednesday, May 26, drawings. Among these winners was Kile, who purchased his winning Powerball ticket at Bag N Save, 14444 West Center Road in Omaha. The five-play ticket contained one play with four of the five winning white ball numbers (1, 6, 10, 13, 20) and the Powerball number (32) from the May 26 drawing for $10,000.
A second play on the ticket matched three of the winning white ball numbers for $7, making Kile’s total win $10,007.
Two hundred and ninety-six Nebraska Lottery players have won the $10,000 Powerball prize to date. The odds of winning $10,000 playing Powerball are 1 in 723,145, and the odds of winning $7 are 1 in 359. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 35.11.
