North Platte Woman Wins $32,000 Playing Larry the Cable Guy®

June 21, 2010 – Jerri Theus of North Platte won $32,000 playing the $5 Scratch game Larry the Cable Guy from the Nebraska Lottery.

Theus purchased her winning Larry the Cable Guy ticket at Time Saver #2, 1401 South Jeffers Street in North Platte. Scratching the ticket, she revealed matching symbols for a corresponding prize of $32,000.

There are five $32,000 top prizes available in Larry the Cable Guy. Theus is the second person to claim a top prize to date.

While claiming her prize on June 16, Theus told Nebraska Lottery officials that she “couldn’t believe it” when she scratched off the ticket and realized she had won the $32,000 top prize. She plans to pay bills using her winnings.

Featuring one of the most recognized comedians in America, the $5 Larry the Cable Guy Scratch game features over $1.6 million in total cash prizes from $5 to $32,000. The odds of winning the $32,000 top prize are 1 in 96,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.66.
