Omaha Man Wins $4,000 Playing Money Jar

May 11, 2010 – David Sopcich of Omaha won $4,000 playing the $1 Scratch game Money Jar from the Nebraska Lottery.

Sopcich purchased his winning Money Jar ticket at Avanza Supermarket, 2900 Leavenworth Street in Omaha. Scratching the ticket, he revealed three matching dollar amounts for the $4,000 top prize.

There were two $4,000 top prizes available in Money Jar. Sopcich was the second person to claim a top prize in the game.

Money Jar was a $1 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offered players the chance to win $432,000 in cash prizes from $1 to $4,000. The odds of winning the $4,000 top prize in Money Jar were 1 in 360,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize were 1 in 4.37.
