$5,000 MyDaY Prize for Grand Island Man

March 18, 2010 – Dale Boyd of Grand Island recently won $5,000 playing MyDaY from the Nebraska Lottery.

Boyd received a free MyDaY ticket for the March 6 drawing at Pump & Pantry, 3507 East Bismark Road in Grand Island. The store was participating in a promotion that offered a free MyDaY quick pick play with every $3 Nebraska Pick 5 purchase. One play the ticket contained the winning Month (7), winning Day (28), and winning Year (11) from the March 6 drawing for the $5,000 top prize.

One hundred and fourteen Nebraska Lottery players have won the MyDaY top prize since the game launched on October 1, 2008.

MyDaY is a new Nebraska Lottery Lotto game with a calendar theme. Players can win up to $5,000 by choosing a six-digit date for each $1 MyDaY play. The odds of winning the $5,000 top prize in MyDaY are 1 in 36,525, and the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 8.17.
