North Platte Woman Wins $2,850 Playing Nebraska Pick 3

March 17, 2010 – Suzanne Meyers of North Platte won a total of $2,850 playing Nebraska Pick 3 from the Nebraska Lottery.

Myers purchased three identical Nebraska Pick 3 tickets for the March 6 drawing. One ticket was purchased at Kwik Stop, 702 East Fourth Street in North Platte; another ticket was purchased at Sun Mart, 1921 West A Street in North Platte; and the third ticket was purchased at Time Saver, 3220 South Jeffers Street in North Platte. Each ticket contained two plays. One play on each ticket contained the winning numbers 5, 3, 4 with the Straight bet type selected for $600.

The second play on each ticket contained the winning numbers with the Straight/Box bet type selected for $350, making each ticket worth $950 for a total of $2,850.

Three thousand and thirty-four Nebraska Lottery players have won the $600 top prize in Nebraska Pick 3 to date.

Nebraska Pick 3 was introduced in May of 2005. Nebraska Pick 3 sales have exceeded $9 million and provided more than $2 million for Nebraska Lottery beneficiary funds. The odds of winning the Nebraska Pick 3 $600 top prize are 1 in 1,000, and the odds of winning $350 are 1 in 1,000.
