Lincoln Woman Wins $20,000 Through 2by2 Promotion Purchase
2/5/2003-Kimberli Yasin of Lincoln has become a repeat Nebraska Lottery Lotto prize winner.On the evening of February 5, she stopped at the Buggy Bath car wash and convenience store at 16th and Old Cheney Road. Although she would ordinarily have purchased one 2by2 ticket for that night's drawing, she took advantage of a special Nebraska Lottery promotion and bought two 2by2 plays on the same ticket in order to receive a free Powerball quick pick.The next morning, at work, Yasin checked her tickets against the winning numbers on the Nebraska Lottery website, www.nelottery.com.Stunned to see that she had matched the winning 2by2 numbers (Red 19, 25; White 16, 20) from the night before, Yasin had to call a co-worker to verify what she saw. She had won $20,000.The winning combination came on the second of the two plays she bought as part of the promotion.As she claimed her prize at Nebraska Lottery headquarters, Yasin noted that her birthday is in February and said her plans for the prize included paying some bills and planning a vacation to Canada.On October 9, 2002, Yasin won $5,000 on a Powerball quick pick ticket.
