Omaha Woman Wins $25,000 Playing The Dog

February 3, 2010 – Marilyn Meeves of Omaha won $25,000 playing the $3 Scratch game The Dog from the Nebraska Lottery.

Meeves purchased her winning The Dog ticket at Hy-Vee, 3410 North 156th Street in Omaha. Scratching the ticket, she revealed one “present” symbol for a corresponding prize of $25,000.

There were three $25,000 top prizes available in The Dog. Meeves was the third person to claim a top prize in the game.

The Dog was a $3 holiday Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offered players the chance to win $980,400 in cash prizes from $3 to $25,000. The odds of winning the $25,000 top prize in The Dog were 1 in 160,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize were 1 in 3.41.
