Lincoln Woman Wins $2,500 playing Beginner’s Luck

September 23, 2009 – Angela Stone of Lincoln won $2,500 playing the $1 Scratch game Beginner’s Luck from the Nebraska Lottery.

Stone purchased her winning Beginner’s Luck ticket at Kabredlo’s, 4002 Adams Street in Lincoln. Scratching the ticket, she revealed one winning “horseshoe” symbol with a corresponding prize of $2,500.

There are five $2,500 top prizes available in Beginner’s Luck. Stone is the first person to claim a top prize to date.

Beginner’s Luck is a $1 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $383,300 in cash prizes from $1 to $2,500. The odds of winning the $2,500 top prize in Beginner’s Luck are 1 in 144,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.74.
