Five Semi-Finalists Chosen for Tundra Giveaway
September 3, 2009 – In a drawing on September 2, five semi-finalists were chosen for the Truck$ & Buck$ Second Chance Tundra Giveaway. These finalists are:
- Vicki Budnick of York
- Arlene Janata of Howells
- Neva Boyd of Grand Island
- Bud Steinshouer of Holdrege
- Eldon Mannschreck of Syracuse
The Truck$ & Buck$ Second Chance Tundra Giveaway allowed players to send in ten dollars worth of non-winning $2 Scratch tickets for the chance to win a 2009 Toyota Tundra Flex Fuel Blackshirt Edition truck. Three preliminary drawings were held in June, August and September to select 15 semi-finalists who will compete in the final Truck$ & Buck$ Second Chance Tundra Giveaway Grand Prize contest on Sunday, September 6, 2009. Semi-finalists drawn previously were: Marylouise Dean of Lincoln; Dan Esch of Fremont; Gailon Schoenrock of Fairbury; Lee Nugara of Lincoln; Roxanne Potthoff of Ceresco; Doug Schuldt of South Sioux City; Grace Adler of Hastings; Jon White of Hastings; Virgil Heesacker of Columbus; and Rodney Hengelfelt of Stromsburg.
The Grand Prize Giveaway will be held on September 6 during the Nebraska State Fair. The Grand Prize winner will receive a 2009 Toyota Tundra Flex Fuel Blackshirt Edition and a $100 gift card for Ethanol-enriched fuel. Five second place winners will each win $1,000 cash. All semi-finalists will each receive a $50 gift card for Ethanol-enriched fuel and a prize package with products from the Nebraska Lottery, Ethanol-enriched fuel, Nebraska Game & Parks Commission and Nebraska Pork Producers Association.
