South Sioux City Woman Wins $5,000 Playing MyDaY

August 25, 2009 – Judy Brewer of South Sioux City recently won $5,000 playing MyDaY from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 11,000 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Monday, August 17, drawings. Among these winners was Brewer, who purchased her winning MyDaY ticket at Circle S Stop & Shop, 604 West 29th Street in South Sioux City. The two-play ticket contained one play with the winning Month (1), winning Day (23), and winning Year (46) from the August 17 drawing for the $5,000 top prize.

Seventy-three Nebraska Lottery players have won the MyDaY top prize since the game launched on October 1, 2008.

MyDaY is a new Nebraska Lottery Lotto game with a calendar theme. Players can win up to $5,000 by choosing a six-digit date for each $1 MyDaY play. The odds of winning the $5,000 top prize in MyDaY are 1 in 36,525, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 8.17.
