Lincoln Man Wins $22,000 2by2 Prize

August 18, 2009 – Gary Kubert of Lincoln recently won $22,000 playing 2by2 from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 1,700 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Sunday, August 9, 2by2 drawing. Among these winners was Kubert, who received a free five-play quick pick 2by2 ticket from a previous play at U-Stop, 8231 O Street in Lincoln. One play on the ticket contained the winning red ball numbers (9, 16) and white ball numbers (10, 14) from the August 9 drawing for a corresponding prize of $22,000.

One hundred and ninety-one Nebraska Lottery players have won the 2by2 top prize to date.

2by2 is run by the Multi-State Lottery Association and was introduced in June 2002. Players in Kansas, Nebraska and North Dakota have the opportunity to win up to $22,000 Monday through Sunday by playing 2by2. The odds of winning the $22,000 2by2 top prize are 1 in 105,625, while the overall odds are 1 in 3.59.
