$1,000 Blazing Cash Prize for Grand Island Woman

April 30, 2009 – Jean Clark of Grand Island won $1,000 playing the $5 Scratch game Blazing Cash from the Nebraska Lottery.

Clark purchased her winning Blazing Cash ticket at Skagway, 1607 South Locust Street in Grand Island. Scratching the ticket, she revealed matching numbers with a corresponding prize of $1,000.

There are four $1,000 prizes available in Blazing Cash. Clark is the third person to claim a $1,000 prize to date.

Blazing Cash is a $5 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $1,632,000 in cash prizes from $5 to $50,000. The odds of winning $1,000 playing Blazing Cash are 1 in 120,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.59.
