Bellevue Woman Wins $22,000 2by2 Prize
March 17, 2009 – Stacy Thacker of Bellevue won $22,000 playing 2by2 from the Nebraska Lottery.
There were more than 17,000 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Wednesday, March 4, drawings. Among these winners was Thacker, who purchased her winning 2by2 ticket at Baker’s, 801 Galvin Road in Bellevue. The multi-draw ticket contained the winning red ball numbers (7, 21) and white ball numbers (7, 12) from the March 4 drawing for a corresponding prize of $22,000.
One hundred and seventy-nine Nebraska Lottery players have won the 2by2 top prize to date.
While claiming her prize on March 10, Thacker told Nebraska Lottery officials that she was “shocked” to learn she had won the $22,000 top prize. Thacker learned she had won after checking the winning numbers at the Nebraska Lottery web site, nelottery.com. She plans to pay bills using her winnings.
2by2 is run by the Multi-State Lottery Association and was introduced in June 2002. Players in Kansas, Nebraska and North Dakota have the opportunity to win up to $22,000 Monday through Sunday by playing 2by2. The odds of winning the $22,000 2by2 top prize are 1 in 105,625, while the overall odds are 1 in 3.59.
