$22,000 2by2 Prize for McCook Man
March 13, 2009 – Sidney TroBaugh of McCook won $22,000 playing 2by2 from the Nebraska Lottery.
There were more than 6,000 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Tuesday, March 3, drawings. Among these winners was TroBaugh, who purchased his quick pick 2by2 ticket at Holiday Plaza Conoco, 201 Eugene Avenue in North Platte. The ticket contained the winning red ball numbers (13, 15) and white ball numbers (5, 9) from the March 3 drawing for a corresponding prize of $22,000.
While claiming his prize on March 9, TroBaugh told Nebraska Lottery officials that it was “great” to win the 2by2 top prize. “I was really surprised,” he said. TroBaugh learned he had won after stopping at another retailer and checking his ticket. He plans to pay bills and possibly take a trip using his winnings.
2by2 is run by the Multi-State Lottery Association and was introduced in June 2002. Players in Kansas, Nebraska and North Dakota have the opportunity to win up to $22,000 Monday through Sunday by playing 2by2. The odds of winning the $22,000 2by2 top prize are 1 in 105,625, while the overall odds are 1 in 3.59.
